Privacy Policy

Information you give us

• Booking and intake forms: your name, email address, phone number, the session you are booking, and your answers to our intake questions. Our booking form may ask for your Instagram handle and lets you upload inspiration photos for your session.
• Contact form, email, calls and texts: your name, contact details and anything you write or tell us.
• Payments: your name, billing details and payment records. Card details are entered on our payment provider's secure checkout. We do not see or store your full card number.
• Your session photos and video: the images and any video we create during your session, including Client Stories and video testimonials.

Information collected automatically

• Basic technical data such as your IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited and the date and time of your visit.
• Cookies and similar technologies used by our website, booking pages and galleries to run the site, remember preferences and measure how the site is used.
• Google Analytics helps us understand how visitors use our site. You can opt out with Google's Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
• Meta Pixel runs on our booking pages to measure how our Facebook and Instagram ads perform.

We use your information to:

• Schedule, plan and prepare for your session.
• Process deposits and payments, and send receipts and booking emails.
• Deliver your proof and final galleries.
• Send session reminders and service messages by email or text.
• Send our email newsletter and offers if you are on our list.
• Answer your questions and provide support.
• Keep our website, booking and galleries secure and working properly.
• Improve our site and measure our advertising.
• Meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it for advertising beyond the Meta Pixel on our booking pages described above.

When you book, the booking form includes a checkbox where you agree that we may use content from your session, including photos, Client Stories and video testimonials, on our website, social media, marketing and for educational use. That checkbox is our release; there is no separate form. If you have questions or concerns about how your images are used, contact us.

• Email: if you join our email list, you can unsubscribe at any time with the link at the bottom of any marketing email. We may still send emails about your booking, payments or galleries.
• Text messages: we only send texts related to your booking and session (for example, confirmations and reminders). We do not send promotional texts. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out.

We share information only with the services that help us run the studio, and only as needed:

• Acuity Scheduling: booking, intake forms and inspiration photo uploads.
• ShootProof: proof and final galleries, and print or download orders.
• Stripe: payment processing.
• Squarespace: hosts our website and forms.
• Mailchimp: email list and client emails.
• Quo: our business phone and text messaging for booking-related messages.
• Google Analytics and Meta: site analytics and ad measurement, as described above.
• Legal reasons: when required by law, or to protect our rights, our clients or the public.

We do not currently use an outside print lab. If we begin using print fulfillment partners in the future, we will share only what they need (such as your images, name and shipping address) to fill your order.

Each of these providers handles your data under its own privacy policy.

• Proof galleries are available for 30 days.
• Final galleries are available for 30 days.
• After 30 days, sessions are archived. We currently keep archived sessions with no set storage limit, but we cannot guarantee archives forever, so please download your photos while your gallery is open. Archived galleries can be restored for a $100 fee.
• Booking and payment records are kept in Stripe for as long as Stripe retains them.

Other information is kept as long as needed to serve you and meet legal, tax and accounting requirements. You can ask us to delete your information at any time (see section 9).

We use reputable platforms with industry-standard security, including encrypted (HTTPS) connections and secure payment processing. No method of storage or transmission online is 100% secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.

You can:

• Unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time.
• Reply STOP to opt out of texts.
• Ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
• Ask us to correct or delete your information.
• Turn off cookies in your browser settings (some features, such as booking or galleries, may not work without them).

• You must be at least 18 to book a session on your own.
• Sessions for anyone under 18 must be booked by a parent or legal guardian, who provides the information and consents for the minor.
• Boudoir sessions are for clients 18 and older only.

Our website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 except as provided by a parent or guardian when booking. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Our site links to other sites and platforms, such as Instagram, Facebook, Acuity and ShootProof. We are not responsible for their privacy practices, so please review their policies.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the "Last updated" date above. Significant changes may also be shared by email.

This policy is governed by the laws of the State of Indiana. Any dispute about it will be handled in the courts of Marion County, Indiana.
